What Lights Your Inner Fire? ⁣

Updated: Jul 29, 2022

⁣For so many reasons (injuries, pain, illness, COVID, being in the thick of parenthood, moves, job & life demands, caregiving, changes in routine, etc.) at some point in life, the things that make us feel the most lit up can end up feeling less accessible or are dropped all together. ⁣

Without always realizing it, particularly with illness, pain, or injury, there can be a sense of grief and loss around not being able to continue to do the activities we so love to do. ⁣

But guess what. ⁣

All is not lost. ⁣

We can get creative.⁣

There are always options.⁣

It doesn’t have to be forever. ⁣

It doesn’t have to be all or nothing. ⁣

Sometimes, it just takes a reminder⁣

Or some encouragement to jump back in. ⁣

Allow yourself be inspired to return to yourself, even if it’s a different version than before (because it’s normal that we change over time.)⁣

Most of the time, we can find ways to access what it is we love(d) to do whether that may be:⁣

Art ⁣

Sport⁣

Music ⁣

Dance⁣

Baking ⁣

Writing ⁣

Playing⁣

Creating ⁣

Learning ⁣

Coaching ⁣

Exploring ⁣

Connecting ⁣

Volunteering ⁣

Time in nature ⁣

Joyful movement ⁣

Tell me, what sparks your fire? ⁣

What do you do that lights you up, and feels like coming back to yourself? ⁣

What do you miss doing, that you would like support to return to, even if it looks a little different at this stage of life?⁣
