Are you "Out of Alignment"?
Have you ever noticed, or been told that your body is โ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ต ๐ฐ๐ง ๐ข๐ญ๐ช๐จ๐ฏ๐ฎ๐ฆ๐ฏ๐ตโ? โฃ
โฃ
Maybe...โฃ
One hip is higher than the otherโฃ
Your spine has a curve in itโฃ
Your neck is straightโฃ
Your pelvis is tilted (forward or back)โฃ
Your knees track inwardโฃ
You have high or low archesโฃ
You have scoliosisโฃ
One leg is longer than the other โฃ
Your head is forward (โtext neckโ) โฃ
โฃ
While these findings might sound concerning, theyโre actually quite common and ๐ฏ๐ฐ๐ณ๐ฎ๐ข๐ญ. โฃ
โฃ

Interestingly, differences in alignment are not really as big of a deal as theyโve been made out to be. People who are fairly symmetrical can still experience pain, and many people with variances in alignment or posture are asymptomatic (meaning they donโt have pain). โฃ

โฃ
Do you experience pain? โฃ
Or dysfunction? โฃ
Are you able to perform day to day activities? Do you have pain when exercising or playing sports? โฃ
Can you sleep well at night? โฃ
โฃ
โฃ
When it comes to vehicles and machines, alignment certainly matters. But unlike a car, our bodies have the ability to adapt, and are far more complex than any piece of machinery. โฃ
